Any good speech should be rehearsed. Give the man credit: Is he reading his speech?

I've done a lot of public speaking in my career, been around a lot of other public speakers, and I've given two best man speeches. His speech is decent, but he definitely prepared it ahead of time, even if he didn't stand up and practice it in a mirror. You can clearly tell by the flow of the speech. I've seen some off-the-cuff speeches that turned out to be excellent, but the dead giveaway is how it flows. The only way for something to flow that smoothly is to know where you're trying to go and what section comes before/after other sections, and the only way to know THAT is if you've prepared ahead of time.
